Serenity Suite

The meditation area is an acoustically isolated space for yoga, relaxation, or quiet contemplation.

Restful Refuge

Step into this master bedroom--with its palomino beige walls and perhaps a fire in the gas fireplace beyond the foot of the bed--and right away you start to unwind.

In Good Company

One wall of the guestroom is hung with lined, organic silk curtains. The silk's subtle gleam is a rich-looking backdrop for the wood-framed bed.

French Connection

This grand master bedroom seems to float, with its full-length casement windows, billowing bed canopy, intricate millwork, and airy palette.

Perfect Complement

In the master suite, mosquito netting drapes a four-poster bed in classic island fashion. The designer chose traditional French West Indies-style furnishings for the bedrooms. "We bought pieces constructed of alder and other close-grain woods. They hold up better in this climate," he says. Walls painted sunset orange complement cobalt blue fabrics.
